# Optional Curation Incentives

As of Release v1.1, RARA's protocol enables free curation or paid curation via purchasing and spending reactions in return for Curation Tokens.

## Free Reactions vs. Paid Reactions

The RARA protocol's **React** function can be called with or without sending value (MATIC).

* Paid Reactions: (features of Free) + reward creators & owners. Invest in virality.
